Dhruv Kalra Posted November 13, 2008 at 06:30 PM Posted November 13, 2008 at 06:30 PM Also, everyone please take the time to get a current AFCAD cycle for KMSP. Most notably, FS2004 and FSX both render the new runway 17/35 in various stages of unusability (FS2004 doesn't have it, while FSX has construction equipment in the area). KZMP AFCAD cycle 0802 for FS2004 (untested in FSX, but should work) is available at http://www.minniecenter.org/module.php?page=afcadcycle. Of course, if you would like custom buildings at KMSP, we recommend the following freeware scenery by William Morgan which includes an up-to-date AFCAD: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=105738 Also available is Blueprint Simulations' excellent payware KMSP scenery from http://www.blueprintsimulations.com. Thanks for your cooperation, and to quote a very famous line regarding Minneapolis, "we'll see you tomorrow night!" Mark Kuebeler Posted November 14, 2008 at 12:16 AM Posted November 14, 2008 at 12:16 AM Hey, I downloaded a KMSP scenery update for FS9 from the ZMP website about five months ago, and buildings and trees from the default scenery were on 17/35 and the taxiway, I guess because the default airport didn't extend that far. I used the leave feedback link to report it. Did that ever get corrected? The only workaround I could come up with was to set the scenery and autogen settings to their minimum values. Maybe it doesn't matter so much at night, but it's a bit of a bummer in daylight. Mark Kuebeler
Dhruv Kalra Posted November 14, 2008 at 12:33 AM Posted November 14, 2008 at 12:33 AM The cycle we uploaded this month adds an exclusion zone to the area around 17/35, so it should remove those buildings/trees. If you have further issues with it, let us know and we will look into it.
