Cameron Fulbright 879472 Posted November 19, 2008 at 01:54 AM Posted November 19, 2008 at 01:54 AM Hi all, I am trying out X-Plane as I am unhappy with FSX's flight dynamics. I am looking for a realistic single or light-twin. In FSX it seemed that the best aircraft were payware and that's understandable, so if you have payware in mind, go ahead and throw me some links. Also any sceneries or other utilities which are good, please feel free to link as well. Thanks much!

Wayne Conrad 989233 Posted November 19, 2008 at 03:37 PM Posted November 19, 2008 at 03:37 PM I have been delighted with the quality of Heinz's Planes. The panels are good, and the flight dynamics seem friendly (although I'm not a pilot, so I can't tell you how real). The panels for all of his planes that I've bought are wide-screen friendly and good in both 2D and 3D. The latest of his planes that I'm flying is the Twin Beech (Beech 18 ), and it's very nice. Highly recommended. It's not just Heinz's planes that are great. Heinz himself is a good guy and supports his planes very well. As well as his Twin-Beech, I fly his Comanche, Clipper and Tri-Pacer. They're all outstanding planes. ZLA Pilot Certs make your eyes bright, your teeth white, and childbirth a pleasure. Get yours today!

Alexander Cohrs Posted July 23, 2009 at 03:10 PM Posted July 23, 2009 at 03:10 PM Can't judge about the flight dynamics, but concerning the panel and the simulation of the system in my eyes the (payware) Airbus series by Peter Hager is the most realistic one. Nick Giese 959828 Posted July 23, 2009 at 05:36 PM Posted July 23, 2009 at 05:36 PM Here you go Wayne: http://www.x-scenery.com/ I highly recommend it. Not only is it a dream to fly, but it has the most accurate systems modeling of any aircraft on X-Plane right now. I have yet to use it on VATSIM however...I want to spend some more time until I'm comfortable with it, because (just like the real thing I've heard), it can be quite a handful. EDIT: Alex, thanks for that Airbus link! I'm going to have to get that now, it looks amazing.
