Jan Van Bekkum 830639 Posted December 27, 2008 at 09:18 AM Posted December 27, 2008 at 09:18 AM Has anyone experience with the ATI HD 4870 graphics card and FS2004? Whatever I try I can't get anti-aliasing to work. I have switched anti-aliasing on and off in FS and tried different combinations in Catalyst Control Center, but I don't notice any change in the picture. Brandon Jackson 863858 Posted February 24, 2009 at 01:48 PM Posted February 24, 2009 at 01:48 PM I know this is a little old but maybe it will help. I have my settings maxed in ATI's CCC and FS9 is maxed except for the AA (off in FS9, On full in CCC ,8x + Edge Detect = 24x) and AS (filtering set to trilinear, and CCC is set to full ASF 16x). FYI I'm using Catalsyt 9.

Brandon Jackson 863858 Posted March 1, 2009 at 12:19 AM Posted March 1, 2009 at 12:19 AM Sapphire ATI HD4870 1gig. With Cat. 9.2. What view are you in when it looks like AA's not working? I believe 2D panels are normal still jagged but any other view should look great. Also what driver version are you using?
Jan Van Bekkum 830639 Posted March 1, 2009 at 06:08 AM Author Posted March 1, 2009 at 06:08 AM Dear Brandon, Thanks. I do have the problem in the 2D panels only, so perhaps I shouldn't expect more. The numbering I have for Catalyst is apparently different: my version is 2008.1201.1504.27008. At the time I submitted the post it was the latest version.
