Mark Richards Posted January 2, 2009 at 03:14 AM Posted January 2, 2009 at 03:14 AM SUNDAY NIGHT OPS - Sunday 4 January 2009 - 19:00-22:00 NZDT (06:00-09:00 UTC) It's summer in New Zealand and that means it's CRICKET TIME! The Blackcaps are hosting the West Indies at home and they're going to need to support for the One Day International in Wellington on Wednesday 7th January 2009. So far the Windies are winning the series, with the two test matches drawn and a win in the International Twenty-20 in a tie breaker. Now it's time for the always-popular one day tests. The first one day in Queenstown had to be abandoned due to rain so the Blackcaps are hoping to strike a win in the second match in Christchurch on Saturday before heading to Wellington for the third ODI at the Westpac Stadium on Wednesday. The fans will be in Wellington in their droves to support their team and will be flying into Wellington from all points North and South on Sunday. Help to bring them in! Possible Controller positions: NZWN_TWR - Wellington Tower NZWN_APP - Wellington Control NZCH-W_CTR - Christchurch Control Wellington Sector NZOH_CTR - Ohakea Control NZCH-A_CTR - Christchurch Control Auckland Sector NZCH-N_CTR - Christchurch Control South Island North Sector NZCH-S_CTR - Christchurch Control South Island South Sector Airspace References Airspace Reference - Wellington All other airports simply go to http://www.vatnz.net/airport/xxxx and replace the xxxx with the ICAO code of the airport you plan to fly into. To make things a little more interesting and to see flights coming in from all around New Zealand, we're suggesting that you fly into Wellington from an airport that starts with the first letter of your name (first name, known name or surname, the choice is yours!), so if your name is Nick, come from New Plymouth, Nelson or Napier; Grayson from Gisborne; Epps-Eades from Eketahuna and so on. You can find an airport in the Airspace Reference Map (turn on the airports by clicking down the bottom) and pick an aircraft to suit. Why not depart out of Wellington to another airport for another of your names and bring back some more cricket fans! For more information, visit the VATNZ Forums See you all on Sunday!
