1. Quick question, when ES automatically [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igns sqk codes does it look to see if its already being used, this has happened a few times lately where it just keeps issuing codes, but its not until the aircraft sqks that code does it then show up DUPE,

2. Where we at the moment enter our sqk code range, could we have a few more options to enter different ranges of sqk codes but then [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ociate those code with certain destination airfileds that we could enter into a box, this way it will [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign a code but looking at the destination airfield before [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igning a certain code.

ie sqk range

2300 - 2400 [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ociated with flights from EGLL to K***

2401 - 2450 [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ociated with flights from EGLL to ED**

etc

non-discript self importance signature

1. Yes ES check if the code is [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned and doesn't use it again, until the pool is all used and it starts again. You have to keep in mind that ES will [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign SQ different of what he sees, if the Aircraft is out of visual range of ES, it won't know it's SQ. Also DUPE is shown only when the aircraft squawks that code (altho I'm not 100%, only 99%).

2. This is easy I think to be implemented, but the final word is Gergely's, may be a ASR entry with the airports and its pools.

Hope some day number two will be managed by a plugin connecting to a sqauwk distribution server...

David,

EuroScope looks after the used SQ codes within the planes in range and also the planes coming from the statistics server. It checks not only the value set by the pilot, but also the value [Mod - Happy Thoughts]igned by another controller (it works for planes in range only). When you [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign a code it will not be duplicated at least for that client at time of the issue.

Gergely.
