I notice that i have the MD-80 and the Maul M7 in my Simobjects/Aircraft file, and those two aircraft show up when i turn on Airtraffic, but when i go to fly those planes, they dont show up in "choose aircraft" option...What the heck is going on? As such nothing strange is going on. You could fly these if you wish but this involves aliasing a panel to them and editing your fsx.cfg to include the simobjects cl[Mod - Happy Thoughts] that these aircraft live in. Even having done this the air file used by them will be quite rudimentary so don't be expecting anything resembling the real deal. On an aside, you could pilot any of the simobjects this way. It’s unfortunate that they don’t include a disclaimer for this. It was the same for FS 2002. They shipped two versions. Just about everyone with the lesser version was locked forever (unless they made a full purchase) from many features and third party addons. I didn't mention the missions because I don't use the ones I already have. I tried to make reference to the things [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ociated with VATSIM. I don't think (I might be wrong) the Acceleration Pack upgrades you to the SDK kit. I believe the SDK kit is important for some addons. I purchased the Acceleration Pack because I wanted to test the compatibility with it to FSInn and was anxious to use the Direct10 features of my Video card. After the release of SP2 I stopped using the Acceleration Pack. I would prefer the SDK kit over any of the other features provided with the Acceleration Pack. Except for verifying it's functionalitity with FSInn, I don't have a use for it. I would recommend that you get the Deluxe version and possibly put your Standard version up for sell on ebay to offset the upgrade cost. By the way, if it's less than 30 days since you bought it, many stores will allow you to exchange. Call your vendor and ask them. -- L. James -- L. D.
