Justin Martin Posted March 7, 2009 at 02:49 PM Posted March 7, 2009 at 02:49 PM The new site looks ok, but PUT THE LINKS TO OXNER"S ARTICLES UP. Best part of the old website, in my opinion. Also, when are we getting the forums back? They've been down for a week now, and the CZWG Fir needs to coordinate some updates.
Lukas Kusiak 1016006 Posted March 7, 2009 at 06:56 PM Posted March 7, 2009 at 06:56 PM If the 'new' forum is still in design, can we put up a temporary one or something? Lukas Kusiak CZWG Winnipeg FIR Instructor
Justin Martin Posted March 7, 2009 at 08:21 PM Posted March 7, 2009 at 08:21 PM If the 'new' forum is still in design, can we put up a temporary one or something? Yeah, good idea.
Joshua Black Posted March 10, 2009 at 01:08 AM Posted March 10, 2009 at 01:08 AM Yes, we certainly need some sort of forum to keep in touch. It's been more than a week now, if not two. Joshua Black
Danny Burtch 816098 Posted March 10, 2009 at 04:48 PM Posted March 10, 2009 at 04:48 PM Yes, we certainly need some sort of forum to keep in touch. It's been more than a week now, if not two. Ironic that you're requesting that we use a forum to keep in touch... in a forum dedicated to VATCAN If I have any VATCAN related issues I'll use this forum until the new one is up and running. Ironic that you're requesting that we use a forum to keep in touch... in a forum dedicated to VATCAN Haha good point, but no one really posts on these forums. If we do, I never would've made that request. Joshua Black
Justin Martin Posted March 19, 2009 at 03:44 PM Posted March 19, 2009 at 03:44 PM So, a month without VATCAN forums... I fully expect the new forums to provide us with free strippers and beer, since a month to upgrade them should allow for enough time to include that functionality. Seriously guys, can we get a date for when they go back on?
Chris Hardy 958349 Posted March 19, 2009 at 06:17 PM Posted March 19, 2009 at 06:17 PM Patience, the VATCAN server was part of last weeks mess, as was other sites present on this platform if there is as much rebuilding as I have had to do at Canada Charters it may be a bit. Alan Taylor 825557 Posted March 29, 2009 at 08:43 PM Author Posted March 29, 2009 at 08:43 PM The forum is more than likely going to be down for "maintenance" for a bit longer...a solution is being sought, but in the meantime I would encourage you to use this section of the VATSIM forums, rather than start yet another forum. Needless to say "maintenance issues" are not the reason for the prolonged outage, but we hope to have the forum restored soon. Patience please, folks.
