Kyprianos Biris Posted February 12, 2009 at 06:54 AM Posted February 12, 2009 at 06:54 AM It's still in beta & trialware but it works very well. www.autoplan.aero It is developed by a PPL IR pilot and the idea originated from the www.pplir.org group. It finds the route you want by crosschecking dynamically on line the Eurocontrol restrictions, tries next closest available solutions if the first one doesn't work and within seconds it comes out with a valid flight plan. I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume it will become payware some time in the future but while it's free you can use it freely and its the only tool that generates immediately a valid route saving you the trouble of searching around to byp[Mod - Happy Thoughts] the route restrictions. Stefan Hueneburg 1062056 Posted October 26, 2009 at 02:48 AM Posted October 26, 2009 at 02:48 AM You could give Flightplanpro (http://www.flightplanpro.eu/) a try. Works similar to Autoplan but a bit different. Join us in #vatsim @ irc.quakenet.org - the IRC chat for every VATsimmer.
Kyprianos Biris Posted November 5, 2009 at 02:41 PM Author Posted November 5, 2009 at 02:41 PM Indeed to the disappointment of many AUTOPLAN's developer has given up on updates. Nobody knows when and if he will continue. Its a shame because it is an excellent software. I contacted him and never got a response. FLIGHTPLAN PRO is an equally good software but a bit different in the way it functions. It still does the job very well.
