Chris Makris Posted February 13, 2009 at 09:23 AM Posted February 13, 2009 at 09:23 AM Hello, I am using the Hungary server for the ATIS creation. On the URL string after the http://vacchun.hu/td/esmetar.php?tlcond= there are some numbers. Are these number the TA, STD QNH, TL? or something else? What I am thinking is the first is the Transition Altitude of the airport the second the standard QNH and the last the Transtition Level on the standard QNH so for example for LGAV these will be 090,1013,100. Thx in advance
Gergely Csernak Posted February 13, 2009 at 09:54 AM Posted February 13, 2009 at 09:54 AM Chris, You can find the complete docomeentation of the Hungarian ATIS maker in the installed atis_demo folder. The name is Automatic voice "ATIS generator for Euroscope.doc". I think that you are referencing to the -tlcond parameter. I copy the part to here: The conditions for transition level. In Hungary, if the QNH is more than 1013, the TL is 100, if less or equal, then TL110. At this case, you write: tlcond=100,1013,110 Theoretically, would the pressure fall so down (below 978), the TL would go up to FL120. For these cases you can also write 5 parameters here, but no more: tlcond=100,1013,110,978,120 Gergely. EuroScope developer
