Text lag in SB3 using ATI Catalyst Control Center Anti-Alias

I unticked anti-aliasing in FS9 and am using ATI catalyst control center to control anti-aliasing. My graphics card is an ATI RADEON X800XL 256mb. The graphics are fantastic. However, when I try to type into the text box in SB3, the cursor and text lags. No lag occurs when I tick anti-aliasing in FS9 and disable the graphics card anti-aliasing. Can't find any help in ATI help forums. Anyone else have this problem? I really like the graphics result but the typing lag is quite annoying. I also disabled intellipoint. No change. Any suggestions please?
