Brett Wilson 966396 Posted February 17, 2009 at 10:24 AM Posted February 17, 2009 at 10:24 AM Hi all, Not exactly sure where to post this question, but I hope someone can help. I recently installed FSX again on my new computer without any issues. I then was asked to update to the FSX SP1 which I did. Now every time I double click on the FSX icon on the desktop, the splash screen loads, no intro music then it disappears. Has anyone had this problem and more importantly know how to fix it. Thanks in advance. Brett
Garry Morris 920567 Posted February 17, 2009 at 01:20 PM Posted February 17, 2009 at 01:20 PM If you had installed any addons, you need to completely uninstall everything (including FSX), reinstall FSX, add SP1, then SP2, and then re-add your addons. Alternatively, you installed the wrong version of FSInn. There's a command out there if you Google that you can type into a command prompt to load FS while choosing each addon as it loads which could help you to diagnose, but the instructions for SP1 install clearly stated to install it onto a clean copy of FSX. http://www.execjetva.com
