Jonathan Brickley 827212 Posted July 11, 2005 at 12:37 PM Posted July 11, 2005 at 12:37 PM I have FS 2004 running on: Win 98 950MHz 768MB RAM 64MB Video What software do I use to connect to VATSIM? SB 3 does not run on Win 98. SB 2.x is for FS2000 and 2002. Do I use FSInn as a substitute to Squakbox? If I do, do I still FSUIPC?
Jason Harris 877712 Posted July 11, 2005 at 01:48 PM Posted July 11, 2005 at 01:48 PM Yes you would need to use FSInn and no it does not need FSUIPC to work. Don't get the impression that you are getting something "inferior" by having to use FSInn. It's a great pilot client, and actually has many features SB3 does not. Jonathan Brickley 827212 Posted July 11, 2005 at 03:38 PM Author Posted July 11, 2005 at 03:38 PM Jason, Thank you. I've downloaded and installed FSInn and AVC. Now are there any tutorials on getting connected for this software, I seem to only find ones that talk about SB?
Jean Morissette 857169 Posted July 11, 2005 at 04:08 PM Posted July 11, 2005 at 04:08 PM Hi Jonathan. Go back on the FSInn site, and search for a PDF file. I was a beta tester of FSInn, so I never needed the file. That's why I do not have more details on the PDF. Blue skies. I'm not driving too fast..!? I'm flying too low!
