Hey guys,

I'm after a soltuion for quickly finding the long and lat of a place in euroscope, I was wondering if theres something built in like a tool that you click the given point and it displays the long and lat of the position.

any ideas?

Hi Liam,

Type .sline (small letters) at the Euroscope prompt and press enter. It will then give you co-ordinates at the mouse cursor.

.sline is actually used to draw a line or curve or circle, and ES saves every point where you left click. Right click ends the recording and copies all the co-ordinates to the clipboard.

So if you only need one point, hold your mouse cursor over the point you need and left click, followed by a right click. The co-ordinates will be displayed in the message box at the bottom of the screen

Enjoy,

Jacques
