I was just wandering if you guys could reccomend a computer which could run these. I am not hoping to spend to much either as my parents will probably buy it to me! Thanks, Calum

Romano Lara Posted March 26, 2009 at 01:09 AM Posted March 26, 2009 at 01:09 AM Yes, fs9 is not that much demanding as fsx. You should be able to run tons of add-on with fs9; PMDG, LevelD, Wilco, PSS, Aerosoft, Eaglesoft, Dreamfleet almost everything. Compared to fsx, though it offers a highly detailed environment than fs9, but you should be fine with fs9. Calum McGregor 1094665 Posted March 26, 2009 at 10:39 PM Author Posted March 26, 2009 at 10:39 PM The computer comes with Vista. I know that XP is needed for FS9. Could I buy a disk or something or is it impossible for me to get XP?
Joseph Sherrill 1047575 Posted March 26, 2009 at 10:57 PM Posted March 26, 2009 at 10:57 PM I also think the 8800GT would work, I have one and I get great FPS under almost any conditions. FS9 runs on Vista, I believe that it requires you to run it as an administrator. However, you can get XP from newegg.

Calum McGregor 1094665 Posted April 2, 2009 at 05:05 PM Author Posted April 2, 2009 at 05:05 PM It doesn't matter any more. I am getting an old computer wiped completely and hopefully it will work! Mehdi Ourajini 1105598 Posted April 14, 2009 at 08:21 PM Posted April 14, 2009 at 08:21 PM alright here is my VALUABLE suggestion you must have a INTEL Duo core or a quad if you want to pay more money. Also, 3 RAM or better for Vista 2or better for XP. you need a graphic card. I would suggest the GeForce 9600GT ir 9800 GTX they are the same in some way but the GT is a little chiper. This if you only have a 19 inch screen or below. If however you have a 20 inch or up screnn. You need a better graphics card, just let me know and I will tell you. For the hard drive, it really depends on what you are going to use it for. If you download movies music AND of course FSX I highly suggest a 320GB or 500GB. Only If you a really proffesional gamer with banch of games you may want more hard drive otherwise it s a waist of money. Mehdi
