The following FIR's are currently active: FZZA Kinshasa FIR (Democratric Republic of Congo) The Kinshasa FIR is located in the heart of Central Africa. The Brazzaville and Kinshasa Terminal Area is a combined Terminal Area Control and is the most densely populated area in Central Africa. It is also the busiest commercial airline traffic area in the VATCAF Division on VATSIM. DGAC Accra FIR (Ghana) The Accra vFIR provides virtual air traffic services for the countries of Ghana, Togo and Benin. This includes the three major airports Accra DGAA, Lomé DXXX and Cotonou DBBB and the minor airfields of the three countries. DNKK Kano (Nigeria) The Kano FIR serves Nigeria including Murtala Muhammed International Airport is located in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria, and is the major airport serving the city of Lagos, southwestern Nigeria and the entire nation.
