Hi all,

I'm relatively new to vatsim and I have a couple of questions regarding flight plans.

1. How do you find a flight plan (I remember a website but I forget the name of it).

2. How do you input the flight plan into flight simulator (FSINN???)

Thanks!

Hi, Andrew. You posted your question while I was answering another question, so you would not have seen the immediate answer. I'll just post the link to the previous question.

For FSInn/VATSIM issues, please test the FSInn Installation sticky and linked FAQ. It really works!

Could you PLEASE explain to me how to enter a flight plan into SquawkBox so that my airplane will follow it?

Thanks.

squawkbox doesnt do that (not the new versions anyway, old ones did)

all squawkbox does is connect you to the network and file your flightplan. to have your aircraft follow a route you need to use either the default GPS, or an addon FMC or similar program that will do it, or a payware aircraft that has its own FMC.

1. I find all my flight-plans from VATSIM.net > right side region etc > into pilot > route or flight planning.

Those local region VATSIM organisation sites has charts and often free addon scenaries es as well.

2. See the squawkbox/FSInn flightplan as a real life paper-flightplan-form that are sent to the traffic control prior to IFR clearancy.
