Larry James 901346 Posted April 3, 2009 at 05:42 AM Posted April 3, 2009 at 05:42 AM can you use fs 2004 on cd rom or how do you start these Hi, Russell. You started three threads with the same topic name (actually a slight variation). This is a user-helping-user forum. Questions that are posted can help other users when having a topic that suggests the content of the thread. A descriptive subject of this thread might have been something similar to, "How to Start FS2004?" or "Can you use FS2004 on the CDROM?". When you're coming back to look at the followups to your threads, it'll make it easier for you to know which ones is having updates. As far your question, Flight Simulator will have to be installed on your computer to use it. You will start out with the first disk and follow the installation instructions. When you go to run it, it'll validate your purchase by requiring you to leave disk4 in the drive while you run it. But it doesn't run off the cdrom drive. It runs off your computer. By the way, welcome to VATSIM. Feel free to ask questions. Read the PRC. It'll give you a great learning curb for your experience on the network. Enjoy! -- L. James -- L. D.
