Unable to connect ACSim after update - radar client ok

Hello,

up till yesterday everything was working fine. Now, VRC and ES will connect to sweatbox.vatsim.net correctly, but ACSim won't. When I try to load an aircraft file, nothing appears in the dropdown list. Again, I haven't changed any setting since yesterday.

Make sure you are trying to connect to sweatbox.vatsim.net and not to an IP, the server address changed. It may have taken a couple hours for the DNS to update, but it should be working now.

I am indeed connecting to sweatbox.vatsim.net, but anyway I am happy to report that it is working properly once again!

Disregard, back down again. This time not even the radar client will connect - no message from the server, nothing. I click connect, and half a second later it disconnects.

 

On a related note, I have been getting 403 (forbidden) errors on and off today while accessing this forum. One moment it works, the next it doesn't. Never had this before, ideas anyone?

 

PS: connecting the radar to a normal network server works ok.
