Lorenzo Van de Pol 1053272 Posted April 15, 2009 at 04:39 PM Posted April 15, 2009 at 04:39 PM Hi everyone, I'm sure this topic already is discussed, but I want some specific information. I'm heading to a STU+ CPT and need to control APP as TWR. But the problem is I can't see ground movements at the same time as air movements ( small airport ). So Can I have 2 scopes on one screen ? Jonas Eberle Posted April 16, 2009 at 12:07 PM Posted April 16, 2009 at 12:07 PM I think it is not possible to open 2 ASR to be visible at the same time, such like an "inlay window". Anyway, I would like to request that feature. The use case is for example a TWR position who needs to check for planes on the localizer before lining up others. It would be handy to have a very simple ASR with just the localizers and mode-c planes on it which is displayed in a movable window. There are use cases for APP and CTR controllers as well. I use F7 switching and it works, but the other way would raise the "situational awareness" and versatility. Could also be accomplished by an overall sizeable Euroscope instance (so far we have only fullscreen and fullscreen + Windows taskbar). Thanks for concerning it. Stephan Boerner 945550 Posted April 16, 2009 at 01:16 PM Posted April 16, 2009 at 01:16 PM It is possible to open two (or more) instances of ES on the same screen. Right click on the maximize-button (second on the right), and you get a menu with several possibilities for the size of the ES window. No real multiple window working like in VRC, but that should do it as well. Lorenzo Van de Pol 1053272 Posted April 16, 2009 at 04:50 PM Author Posted April 16, 2009 at 04:50 PM I tried something. I opened 2 euroSCOPES and put each on half side of my window. I connect one as normal and I connect the other via proxy server. little screenshot . Thanks Stephan! Jonas Eberle Posted April 16, 2009 at 11:09 PM Posted April 16, 2009 at 11:09 PM thank you, I never realized the right-click possibilities! Could be more options in there (for my case "300 x 100px always on top" would be handy), but already allows some interesting configurations. BTW: I found out something interesting: Connect VRC to EuroScope to allow inline windows on top of wonderful EuroScope
Martin Loxbo Posted April 17, 2009 at 02:42 AM Posted April 17, 2009 at 02:42 AM Sorry for going OT, but Lorenzo, if you want to make your scope look more like Lux approach, there are some decent pictures of their radar screens at http://www.laca.lu, just in case you didn't know! Lorenzo Van de Pol 1053272 Posted April 17, 2009 at 04:40 PM Author Posted April 17, 2009 at 04:40 PM Thanks! Normally I have a more professional screen. But I'm now on holidays and quickly installed EU . Didn't knew it so far. I'll sure see how I can get it on my scope. Thanks again !
