Paul Tutty Posted April 27, 2009 at 03:06 PM Posted April 27, 2009 at 03:06 PM Dear VATME, members of my VA have been trying to fly into Mosul this last week on civilian cargo flights and the flights do not register on vataware, which we use to link to flown flights from there profiles. Are you aware of any restriction in flying civilian flights, or reasons why it might not save the flight? If not, I will happily ask over at vataware, but figured I'd ask the locals first! Many thanks.
Mahmoud Fadli 819693 Posted April 27, 2009 at 07:21 PM Posted April 27, 2009 at 07:21 PM Mr. Tutty, Thanks for the inquiry. As far as I know, there are no divisional restrictions on flights into Mosul. The Baghdad FIR has not yet taken shape unfortunately, so at this point I think that it's okay to continue with civilian cargo flights into the facility. I think it's just a VATAWARE issue at this point! Mahmoud A.
