Karl Kornel 964857 Posted May 12, 2009 at 04:28 AM Posted May 12, 2009 at 04:28 AM When, in the U.S., an automated station needs maintenance, it adds a $ symbol to the end of the METAR. It appears that Euroscope is thinking this is the beginning of a function. Here is the METAR reported: KCMH 120351Z 00000KT 10SM CLR 11/02 A3015 RMK AO2 SLP210 T01110017 $ Here is the error displayed when I press the "Test URL" button. Unable to extract function names from URL Here is the Extracted URL: http://karl.kornel.name/metar2es.cgi?atiscode=V&arrrwy=10L,10R&deprwy=10L,10R&metar=KCMH%20120351Z%2000000KT%2010SM%20CLR%2011/02%20A3015%20RMK%20AO2%20SLP210%20T01110017%20$ As far as I know, at least in the U.S., the $ symbol is only used for this purpose, so filtering it out might be the easiest solution... Gergely Csernak Posted May 15, 2009 at 02:45 PM Posted May 15, 2009 at 02:45 PM Karl, That is surely works in this way. The $ is allocated for names to be extracted. I will test the METAR and remove it from the tail. Gergely. EuroScope developer
