Graeme Florance 906409 Posted May 13, 2009 at 10:17 PM Author Posted May 13, 2009 at 10:17 PM Andrew, Thanks for the tip, i can only see compatibility settings to change to xp, vista etc etc none of the options mention 32 or 64. Am i missing something? I did try and set to XP SP3 but it just seems to hang when loading the aircraft files the program itself starts fine.. Craig Phillips 947617 Posted May 14, 2009 at 11:24 AM Posted May 14, 2009 at 11:24 AM What happens when you attempt to launch ACSIM? Forget about the VB files, it wasnt programmed using VB (Visual Basic). Graeme Florance 906409 Posted May 14, 2009 at 11:57 AM Author Posted May 14, 2009 at 11:57 AM Craig, It launches fine, you can select your chosen sector file it then hangs when u select an aircraft file
Craig Phillips 947617 Posted May 14, 2009 at 03:07 PM Posted May 14, 2009 at 03:07 PM It might be a Permissions issue. Make sure the application has permission to read the file. If not, run ACSIM as an Admin. If that fails perhaps its something wrong with the aircraft file. Steven Bartlett 1106450 Posted July 28, 2011 at 10:36 PM Posted July 28, 2011 at 10:36 PM Has there been a fix for this? Same thing, Windows 7 64 bit, AC Sim will load everything except the aircraft file. Tower Trainer works fine. Thank you, Steve Bartlett
