Andrew Martz Posted May 15, 2009 at 01:54 PM Posted May 15, 2009 at 01:54 PM Ok so here's my problem, my video card (Radeon 3450) does tremendous with everthing on high, execpt clouds. I've had to bump down my Global Texture Settings (or whatever its called) and now I can't read my VC, but I can fly with decent framerates. My question is, can you only bump that down for the clouds and keep it up for all the other textures or is that just impossible. It happens in FSX and FS9, but I perfer a solution to FSX. Joseph Jaster 932528 Posted May 18, 2009 at 12:17 AM Posted May 18, 2009 at 12:17 AM Hi Andrew, Try dropping the '3D Cloud Percentage' and 'Cloud Coverage Density' in the graphics options. Clouds are very hard on most systems, especially with these two settings maxed. I'd recommend around 50% for the 3D Percentage, and medium on Coverage Density, that should get you better frames. Experiment and see what combination works best.
