Thomas George 827476 Posted May 19, 2009 at 04:57 AM Posted May 19, 2009 at 04:57 AM I've noticed that it goes unavailable every night, not sure whether the server has a full reboot every night or what. Will have to ask Nico. Thomas George
Nico Plambeck 904229 Posted May 19, 2009 at 06:48 PM Posted May 19, 2009 at 06:48 PM The server hasn't any outtime this month. No errors in the logfile. The server make every 3 days a full backup in the night but he's available for this time. Have you paid for your ISP? Best regards and take care. Nico Plambeck 904229 Posted May 20, 2009 at 03:51 PM Posted May 20, 2009 at 03:51 PM Yes, I don't pay for my ISP daily Herr Plambeck Sure?? hrhr Remember that 99.9% of the problems were caused by the users. The longest time were the server was offline was 10 minutes last month. On every error of the server (apache, smtp, pop3, etc) the system send me an alert and I fixed the errors in a very short time. Best regards and take care. Nico Plambeck
Thomas George 827476 Posted May 20, 2009 at 05:45 PM Posted May 20, 2009 at 05:45 PM Ok, perhaps this is some sort of DNS server somewhere that takes place every night? I'm no expert in the technicalities of networking but I'm not a luddite neither T Thomas George
