Trent Hopkinson Posted June 8, 2009 at 02:13 PM Author Posted June 8, 2009 at 02:13 PM Underway with a 25 minute delay. No pics of the Fault (as I was busy trying to fix it) but I will list the following pic/s FCOM and QRH Listing for actions for AIR SYS TEST FAIL (yellow) warning. Retest. and get maintenence to look at it. Takeoff Not Allowed with this fault! We had already pushed back and started engines so we had to dock back to the gate and shut down again. Finally we tookoff. Flaps 22, Flex 61. It was decided I would handfly the departure including the portion of the SID maintaining 6000ft. Vigilantly monitoring the Air Pressurization system for any unusual behavior on climb. I decided to handfly as I didn't want to end up with a Helios Air issue (Autopilot flying to Cruise Flight Level with unconcious pilots due too high a cabin altitude) The lack of autopilot would let one react immediatley with forward stick to a Pressure warning. After p[Mod - Happy Thoughts]ing through FL180 and the Pressurization system working as normal, we turned on the Autopilot for the remainder of the cruise portion of flight.
