Colm Fitzgerald 1037650 Posted June 17, 2009 at 01:06 PM Posted June 17, 2009 at 01:06 PM Guys, what is the accepted entry of lat/long co-ordanates. Many of the combinations I try dont work (It reads it as an airway) For example, how could I enter 74N136W or similar thanks
Joshua Black Posted June 17, 2009 at 01:39 PM Posted June 17, 2009 at 01:39 PM Which model are you using? I think for most models it's exactly how you typed it: 74N136W I think some accept N74W136. Make sure you enter these on the legs page and not the routes page. If that doesn't work, take a look through the manual. Joshua Black
James O Grady 904153 Posted June 17, 2009 at 04:10 PM Posted June 17, 2009 at 04:10 PM Joshua I think he means entering it as part of a flightplan routing in vroute. Colm did you try 7413N?

Colm Fitzgerald 1037650 Posted June 17, 2009 at 10:04 PM Author Posted June 17, 2009 at 10:04 PM FAQ: How to code oceanic waypoint coordinates Michal I'm still confused! Is it the format on the right hand side I should use here? It still does not enter into vroute if I try it this way, just sees them as airways... Michal Rok Posted June 18, 2009 at 04:28 AM Posted June 18, 2009 at 04:28 AM The right column is the format that should be used. Can you give me an example of what you tried to achieve and what you pasted in the route field to achieve that? Michal vroute.net founder

Michal Rok Posted June 19, 2009 at 08:54 AM Posted June 19, 2009 at 08:54 AM Colin, ZOULU is N25.195833 W156.421111 which is quite far from your next waypoint 30N15 (N30 W115). This confuses vroute, as it rejects a suspicious very-long-dct waypoint. I guess you wanted 30N55 (N30 W155)? Michal vroute.net founder
