Missing Waypoints in FS9 Flight Planner

Newbie here, I'm having a problem to do with FS9's default flight planner...

For the Celtic Corridor event, this is the route that pilots are advised to take:

EGPH-EICK: TRN UP600 BLACA UP620 DUB GERVO UW10 TISMO

But when I go to manually program this route in FS9's flight planner some of the waypoints can't be found, i.e. GERVO and TISMO.

I have the waypoints' coordinates (from the Irish Aviation Authority's website) and have been able to manually edit a flight plan file, and edit the code to use the coords given, but this is a major pain, and if I am ever going transatlantic, for instance, and there were more missing waypoints, it would be a huge pain that could take hours to config correctly.

BTW: By waypoints I mean NDBs, VORS, Intersections etc.

Any advice? Am I missing something?

Thanks

fs9 and fsx nav database is way outdated. i believe there is a file, which was on avsim unfortunately, that updated it, but that ones outdated by now aswell.

out of luck there. youll want to get an addon like VasFMC, which is free, which you can update the nav database using the navigraph airac cycles

Hello Tom,

You can update your FS9 GPS using Graham Mitchells AIRAC data
