Sebastien Bartosz Posted July 20, 2009 at 09:41 AM Posted July 20, 2009 at 09:41 AM Trent, I'd like to join you to be honest in the 777 But I'm a bit confused about the times there as Jody said.. And also, I would prefer this route: LGL UN872 TERPO UN461 RIVAK UN460 SIVIR PASAS 4220N 3730N 3140N 2450N 1858N BONID That way with BONID, we can get a STAR in there, instead of going to FOF (Fort Of France VOR) Its really up to you though, because 2 of the 3 BONID STAR's at TFFF end in FOF anyway.. My 0.02$ I'll be joining in as AFR652 if you accept New York ARTCC
Trent Hopkinson Posted July 20, 2009 at 03:33 PM Author Posted July 20, 2009 at 03:33 PM It was going to be today, but then something came up and I couldn't so I changed the title to read new date (tomorrow) Having different routes is a good idea anyway as they do that in real life too, I just took the first one that came up from flightaware for the Corsair which is what I posted. Sebastien Bartosz Posted July 21, 2009 at 12:09 PM Posted July 21, 2009 at 12:09 PM Hey Trent, not sure if you're gonna get this in time, but the SID is LGL1V for runway 08 because LFPO and LFPG are both in East Config. New York ARTCC
Trent Hopkinson Posted July 21, 2009 at 10:07 PM Author Posted July 21, 2009 at 10:07 PM Flight Report: http://www.vataware.com/flight.cfm?id=3875155 N505F340 LGL UN491 KOKOS UT120 BADUR UN585 REGHI UN480 ETIKI 48N20W/M086F360 44N030W 36N040W 28N050W/M086F380 18N060W PPR EET/LFRR0020 EGGX0053 LPPO0154 KZNY0419 TTZP0732 REG/FHLOV SEL/FHCP OPR/CORSAIR PER/D NAV/RNP4 GPSRNAV RMK/TCAS EQUIPPED After using Google Earth to confirm where Corsair 747's park [1], we Departed the gate on time, and waited for the Air France 777 to takeoff. 3 minutes after his rotation [2] we hit TOGA and blasted off. and nearly ran over the same 777. Was about to level off at 6000ft but TCAS then said to hit the climb at greater than 2500ft/min so we pulled it up and sailed over the top of the 777 at a rather alarming closure rate. Soon our flightplans diverged, with Air France flying fairly southwest with us tracking pretty well directly west till 020W before turning left [3] to avoid headwinds of up to 120 knots predicted. After a long and uneventful cruise we entered the DCF3K arrival for rwy 09 [5] into the FMC and began the descent [4] All in all a nice flight and great scenery at the recieving end.
