Hi gents. I've recently retake the simulation after some years far away form piloting. Almost everithing is running in the right way but... many times FS9 is crashed in the last part of the flight. Sometimes it happends in the very final, close to intercept localizer, and other times crashed comes during the flight. The well known window "windows has detect and error..." appear and FS is over.

I've find this report about errors:

"Aplicación con errores: fs9.exe, versión: 9.0.0.30612, módulo con error: imon.dll, versión 2.70.16.0, dirección de error 0x0000b9c8."

putting the blame on "imon.dll", I guess this dll belongs to NOD32 AV, and I'm wondering if I have either change the AV soft or stop the Imon facility or simply close the whole nod32 when I'm going to fly.

For your information, I'm running FS9 in main PC and Fsinn plus other softs in remote PC. Nod32 is installed in both computers

Thanks for your help

Hi, Vicente. If you’re having a problem with Flight Simulator or some other application my suggestion might be moot. But most issues with FSInn are resolved by being sure you followed closely the installations steps provided VIA the please read sticky in the FSInn Help forum. Looking at the error description above it appears that you didn’t perform the update for FS9.

If you follow closely the installation steps and still have problems you might look at the second of the two messages indicated in the bold item #1 of the please read sticky and try the provided resolutions there. A most common culprit is a third party firewall/antivirus program. While FAQ question #13 has a different description in the actual question, it resolves many third party firewall/antivirus issues, as what might be in your case.

If you do those steps, use the format of the bold item #3 for your followup. If it’s an FSInn issue I might see something else to look at based on the information you provide.

I understand if it’s a FS problem or OS problem my suggestion might be moot. But it might not hurt to start there.

sticky:

  • Not a regular post, but a special
thread/message stuck to the top with special meaning… containing important forum information.

For FSInn/VATSIM issues, please test the FSInn Installation sticky and linked FAQ. It really works!

Thanks for your help Larry. In fact I was looking for some topic related to my "problem", but to be honest, I was lost between so many topics and post whitin vatsim forum. Anyway, i don't think problem was caused by Fsinn, I'm sure installation was made in the right way, but NOD32 or any other module.
