Erfang Chen 926644 Posted August 19, 2005 at 01:25 AM Posted August 19, 2005 at 01:25 AM Hi I will just briefly talk about the situation. Any comment or hints is very appreciated. I used to (until 5 hours ago) have a SoundMax onboard soundcard with a conventional mic. However yesterday my first flight on VATSIM proved to be very difficult because I simply cannot clearly understand ATC's instruction. The transmission sound as if the controller is breathing heavily into the mic. So I decided to spend 80 dollars on both a new sound card and a USB headset, hopping for the situation to improve. But apparently today I have seen little improvement when hearing the ATC. However my own recording does sound better. It doesn't seem like the controller is mubbling because most other people clearly understands him. But There was a few pilots whom were loud and clear though. I have my simulate VHF Transmission checked off by the way. Thanks in advance.

Erfang Chen 926644 Posted August 19, 2005 at 04:35 AM Author Posted August 19, 2005 at 04:35 AM Ok sorry for all those trouble. Problem solved. I had to move the Out Device Volume from 100% to well the lower the better. Not static or heavy breathing. Just high quality audio feedbacks.
