Michael Ellen 1095800 Posted August 2, 2009 at 01:23 AM Posted August 2, 2009 at 01:23 AM Howdy, Just got my S2 rating and want to start controlling at Perth. Few issues, There doesn't seem to be a lot of docomeents on AsA (ie. ATC [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist) that corresponds to flightplans. For example Perth to Sydney (YPPH-YSSY) spits out this route - DCT PH Y19 AD H247 CULIN Y59 SY DCT. Punch that into ATC [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist and you get this - PH AD PANKI NYA TOBOB CULIN TARAL RIVET SY. Where to go from there? I could use the other routing PH B469 GTH UH205 CULIN Y59 SY and that gets a little easier to [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign a SID (in a roundabout kind of way).. I get a PEPPA4 SID, but where is that? I can't [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ign it to a pilot if they can't even find it. Maybe it's my inexperience, can anyone shed some light on how they would send a plane to Sydney? Thanks in advance! Steven Cullen Posted August 2, 2009 at 02:44 AM Posted August 2, 2009 at 02:44 AM Mike, You will get better responses than mine at the vatpac forums. http://www.vatpac.org/forums I have not controled Perth for many years, but I would use one of the RWYS EAST departure, or maybe AMANA1
