Robert Prather 1025238 Posted August 13, 2009 at 03:42 AM Posted August 13, 2009 at 03:42 AM I have been successfully able to setup training scenarios across my network using the built-in ES simulator and proxy. However, I can't seem to connect to it from FSInn. I can connect FSInn to VATSIM just fine but not to the localhost or to another adjacent computer running the ES server. I am able to run ES across the network with no problems with firewall or virus protection, so I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. All help is appreciated! Computer 1 (with ATC Server): Windows XP Computer 2 (FSInn): Windows Vista, ES / ES Secondary I tried turning the firewall completely off on both machines, and still can only connect ES to ES. Thanks for helping! Robert

Robert Prather 1025238 Posted August 14, 2009 at 01:47 AM Author Posted August 14, 2009 at 01:47 AM Thanks for the info. Are there any plans to get that working? I [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ume that also means that the tower portion is not working? I've heard about FSD Server... would it allow connection of multiple airplanes and ATC on a local network? Todor Atanasov 878664 Posted August 14, 2009 at 04:27 AM Posted August 14, 2009 at 04:27 AM I don't believe it will be fixed, it is just how ES FSInn and FSD works. Yes the virtual tower position in simulator is not available. About FSD server and using ES on a local network....Gergely can answer that the best. Robert Prather 1025238 Posted August 14, 2009 at 01:43 PM Author Posted August 14, 2009 at 01:43 PM Thank you very much for your guidance! Guess I'm back on my hunt for FSD Server. Unfortunately all the old download links seem broken Have a great day! Robert http://www.777simulator.com
Gergely Csernak Posted August 14, 2009 at 07:51 PM Posted August 14, 2009 at 07:51 PM Todor is right. We are focusing on the SweatBox connection and therefore the built in FSD server will not be updated. I have an FSD download built in November 2005. Gergely. Robert Prather 1025238 Posted August 14, 2009 at 08:20 PM Author Posted August 14, 2009 at 08:20 PM Thanks Gergely, I played around with the built in FSD, which was quite amazing! However, the FSInn limitation was the issue. I think sweatbox/TWRtrainer will work just perfectly... I just have to find the FSD files so I can implement them! Your service for all these years is greatly appreciated! Robert http://www.777simulator.com
