Luca Benelli Posted September 20, 2009 at 12:40 PM Posted September 20, 2009 at 12:40 PM Hello all. I reinstalled FS9 after a while of FSX. Well i'm now using a laptop with Vista instead of the old XP box, and my Saitek X45 didn't get the trim to be setup on rotary1. Since i installed the Saitek drivers it only got worse, now FS9 sees the joystick completely off axis even if the windows calibration says everything is fine... :/ Anybody already had this and got this fixed? Thank you. Luca Benelli - C3 - P2

Luca Benelli Posted September 20, 2009 at 01:06 PM Author Posted September 20, 2009 at 01:06 PM The saitek forum requires and administrator to approve subscriptions (done yesterday evening) can't get in yet. Thanks for the answer in the meanwhile. Luca Luca Benelli - C3 - P2
Paul Biderman Posted September 20, 2009 at 01:25 PM Posted September 20, 2009 at 01:25 PM Sorry, didn't realize that. Directly from one of their support people: Unplug the controller, click Start>Run, type regedit and click OK. In the Registry Editor browse to the following folders in order: HKEY_CURRENT_USER SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Control MediaProperties PrivateProperties DirectInput And delete the VID_06A3&PID_053C (or VID_06A3&PID_2541) folder. Plug the controller back in, rotate the stick and move the throttle and rudder fully a couple of times and see if that has fixed it.
