This is generally an FSUIPC issue.

What are you using? SB2 or SB3? Which version of FS?

Im using SB2 as im FS2002 with windows 98. Ive tried reloading the FSUIPC.DLL into the modules and this is still not working.

David,

Whilst I will happily talk you through setting up SB2, a better, newer option is available to you.

FSInn is one of the new pilot clients on VATSIM and will work with Windows98. There is no requirement for FSUIPC with FSInn.

Check www.mcdu.com for more info.

I have seen the FSinn download section, where will I get the best tutorial for install, settup and use? Do I need to remove FSUIPC, Squawkbox, AVC stc before installing it etc?

You dont need to uninstall anything, simply install it and run.

There is an FSInn forum here at VATSIM, as well as the main one at www.mcdu.com - feel free to ask questions here or there. The install is pretty simple. Just follow the on screen prompts. On first run it will check all i nstalled aircraft. Depending on how many you have this may take some time - dont be alarmed, it runs much quicker the next time.

David,

The experience gained using FSInn (or SB3 if you had Win2K/WinXP) is many many times that of SB2. You would be doing yourself a disservice by using SB2.

On an aside, if you are using FSUIPC 3.x and SB2 you will need a (free) registration code for squawkbox.exe otherwise you will get the problem you describe (N0W0)
