Unable to start FS2004- have error message "There are duplicate copies of FSUIPC installed. Please remove older copies"

Unable to do this, as It will not let meenter the Module. Where does FSUIPC come from? Is it supplied with FS2004?or with Squawkbox or whatever???

Would welcome some help please

Look in:

FSimDirectory/Modules

Also, do a search on your drive for fsuipc.dll. If you have more than on copy, delete the one(s) NOT in the Modules directory of your main Flight Sim directory. Do you have another version of FS installed?

Implemented a SEARCH - no result! However, is FSUICP delivered with Sqauwkbox? If so, can I uninstall all Sqk boxes(there seems to bea lot of them on my system (I did a search on this also). Then could I aquire a nes SQK Box off the Net and install it?

This message must come from FSUIPC that is a separate addon product for FS (however its included in SB3 as free version for SB3).

You may search/put the question in Peter Dowson's Support Forum: http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

Myself I think the problem is only in your real FS-folder "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Modules" but ther exist a FSUIPC module with an other name than the default "FSUIPC.DLL".
