Windows 7 and VRC bug

Looks like im having the same font issues as before with Win7. Tried re-installing but still the same. Cant find how to turn off the hardware acceleration in Win7 if theres one. Any pointers Ross?

Sorry, I have no pointers for you. I don't use Vista or Windows 7. That'll probably change soon, but for now I have no experience with VRC on anything but XP.

You may have to manually download and install the font. For fixes do you see a 'Ç' where the position symbol should be? If so the font hasnt been installed.

 

You can try downloading the font from http://www.craig-phillips.co.uk/ase/ACSE.ttf rename it to 'VRC Terminal.ttf' and put it in the C:\Windows\Fonts (may not be the same) directory. Restart VRC, then hopefully itll work. Its the font I use for ASE, which is a copy of the VRC font (just renamed).

I had the same problem too, my solution was I installed the latest Drivers for my video card.
