FS9 CFG tweaking

I was wondering if someone with a little more knowledge could chime in and help me out. I've been tweaking my CFG file for FS9 and came across, "TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=21"...The default is 19. I've been doing some reading and I was wondering, will 19 or 21,22, or 23 give me the best visual displays? I've been experimenting and I can't seem to differentiate which one gives the best displays.

 

Here is my current CFG setup:

[TERRAIN]

TERRAIN_ERROR_FACTOR=100.000000

TERRAIN_MIN_DEM_AREA=10.000000

TERRAIN_TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=8

TERRAIN_AUTOGEN_DENSITY=5

TERRAIN_EXTENDED_TEXTURES=1

TERRAIN_DEFAULT_RADIUS=9.000000

TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS=9.900000

TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS=4

Hmm. There are no comments after two days. Could someone with a little more knowledge of "tweaking" chime in and give me some tips to get the best settings possible?

Not an expert tweaker here, maybe someone else can add in. But if you're trying to get higher quality ground textures, you're better off controlling the MIPMAP settings instead. I find the default of 4 works best for me.
