Ray Dotulung Posted October 7, 2009 at 02:32 PM Author Posted October 7, 2009 at 02:32 PM Hi there Romano, thanks for posting.. its a brilliant idea. Lately we've seen many of SE Asia Virtual Airlines (VA), if I'm not mistaken PAL-VA is also exist. The idea is (as always) to light up the whole SE Asia. Perhaps we can do this by making a flight group event by visiting each SE Asia country, we can start either from Thailand (the newest VACC in SE Asia) or other countries in SE Asia. . ------------------------------------------------------ Indonesia VaCC | Virtual Airlines of Indonesia

Romano Lara Posted October 8, 2009 at 10:48 AM Posted October 8, 2009 at 10:48 AM We used to have Asian Tropics Saturday Night Ops, which basically includes countries like: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines & Hong Kong (on some occasions). I think you remember this, yes? We can work this out again, as long as everyone is willing to participate. It basically depends on us, VATSEA Controllers. I also encourage some members of VATTHD (Scott) if they can lend a hand to some VACC's in VATSEA to help with the staffing, only way is, apply for a visiting controller permission. Lester Lee Posted October 15, 2009 at 03:13 AM Posted October 15, 2009 at 03:13 AM Will be better if the Hong Kong and Japanese pilots can join in too, since this is a rather major groupflight. SIA, VAI and CAL did have a groupflight together once, and it did not turn out too well. More participation from other Asian VAs would be appreciated. We will be more than happy to staff for two consecutive weeks. Just a thought Thanks again for coordinating this! Alfred Tang Posted October 16, 2009 at 01:25 AM Posted October 16, 2009 at 01:25 AM Is it possible that Shanghai FIR and its partner airlines become a part of this event? I am well aware that the itinerary has been finalized, but if ZSPD or any other airports within Shanghai FIR can be added, the Shanghai team would be more than happy to welcome all S.E.A. VA pilots.
