Matt Booker Posted October 7, 2009 at 08:24 PM Posted October 7, 2009 at 08:24 PM Does anyone know of a possible conflict between VISTA and FS9 which causes Black Squares to appear on the Scenery? I have searched various forums but unable to find a resolution. Cheers Matt BookerVATSIM Supervisor | Team 2 Lead[email protected]
Mark Richards Posted October 7, 2009 at 09:47 PM Posted October 7, 2009 at 09:47 PM Make sure you turn off Aero (the pretty part of Vista) and revert to a standard desktop and all your issues should disapeer. Matt Booker Posted October 7, 2009 at 09:54 PM Author Posted October 7, 2009 at 09:54 PM I'm going to ask a silly question here Mark, what do you mean by Aero and Standard Desktop? Thanks Matt BookerVATSIM Supervisor | Team 2 Lead[email protected]
Ryan Whitford 995253 Posted October 7, 2009 at 10:15 PM Posted October 7, 2009 at 10:15 PM Aero is that glossy vista theme just turn it off in the appearence. Also if you mean everytime you switch views the black blocks come everywhere then that happens to me too and im running XP, I believe its just the scenery loading but they go away within a split second. http://www.allegiantva.org Join if you have skill! Ryan Whitford 995253 Posted October 8, 2009 at 01:31 AM Posted October 8, 2009 at 01:31 AM hmm that seems like your FS is missing some ground textures but..... If you were missing the texturs the sim would crash.. Maybe you have some corupt files http://www.allegiantva.org Join if you have skill! Matt Booker Posted October 10, 2009 at 12:10 PM Author Posted October 10, 2009 at 12:10 PM I have read on other forums about an FS9 Repair, Where can I find this? I believe it could be a corrupt Scenery file. Regards Matt BookerVATSIM Supervisor | Team 2 Lead[email protected]
