Does anyone know of a possible conflict between VISTA and FS9

which causes Black Squares to appear on the Scenery?

I have searched various forums but unable to find a resolution.

Cheers

Make sure you turn off Aero (the pretty part of Vista) and revert to a standard desktop and all your issues should disapeer.

I'm going to ask a silly question here Mark, what do you mean by Aero and Standard Desktop?

Thanks

Aero is that glossy vista theme just turn it off in the appearence. Also if you mean everytime you switch views the black blocks come everywhere then that happens to me too and im running XP, I believe its just the scenery loading but they go away within a split second.

hmm that seems like your FS is missing some ground textures but..... If you were missing the texturs the sim would crash.. Maybe you have some corupt files

I have read on other forums about an FS9 Repair, Where can I find this? I believe it could be a corrupt Scenery file.
