New to vatsim - Having a lot of trouble - PLEASE HELP!

hey everyone at vatsim,

 

Im new to this whole online flying and talking to ATC and i am in real need of some help. I get so far trying to set up the whole thing when it all back fires. Where do i find servers to fly on? could someone please give me a step by step instruction list from start to finish in basic please.

what Pilot client are you trying to use, what OS, and which FS are you using and do you have the latest patches for you OS and FS?

Yes I have read the whole pilot resource centre but it doesnt make any sense.

 

I use Flight Simulator 2004

To connect fs2004 to the VATSIM servers you need a piece of addon software - either FSInn or Squawkbox. Both of these are free. have you downloaded and installed one of these yet?

The client docomeents should be your first point of interest, as well as this very help forum to obtain more [Mod - Happy Thoughts]istance. It will help if you clearly define your steps so that we may [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist you.

 

On a side note, I'm currently working on ways to improve the Pilot Resource Center and the initial information provided to new members, specifically for pilots. My inbox is always open to hearing your experience and what would help you to understand VATSIM more clearly.
