Ray Lang Posted October 11, 2009 at 02:46 AM Posted October 11, 2009 at 02:46 AM With Euroscope I have setup training aircraft within the built in ATC simulator, for the purpose of practice and training. I have set this up over a lan and manage to get VRC to connect into Euroscope. What I need to know can this be setup via a IP address to enable a ATC Cilent (ie: Euroscope VRC) to be able to connect via the internet. Stephan Boerner 945550 Posted October 11, 2009 at 05:28 AM Posted October 11, 2009 at 05:28 AM There should be no difference between LAN and internet, so yes. Stephan Boerner 945550 Posted October 11, 2009 at 01:39 PM Posted October 11, 2009 at 01:39 PM The most likely reason might be, that you are behind a firewall or a router, and that you might have to forward a port. Did you compare your setup to http://www.euroscope.hu/wiki/index.php?page=Connection_Features ? If that does not help, give us a few more details about your setup. Arjun Murthy 1051343 Posted November 17, 2009 at 11:05 AM Posted November 17, 2009 at 11:05 AM Ray, Download Hamachi. Get your student to download Hamachi. It will give you a separate IP address on there. Tell your student to put that IP address into the VRC's Myservers.txt. Then start up your simulator on Euroscope (you may have to port forward 6809 but you may no need to). Tell the student to connect to your Euroscope simulation by simply connecting to you via your hamachi IP address. You can download hamachi for free from the log me in website. Google it.
