I mean, I really like it, but some aren't that much used to American/English ATC and they always had to ask two times. This was also based on the fact that your voice quality wasn't the very best. But: If you'll have me on the scope, don't hesitate to do it that way - I really appreciate that It is fun, and Alex sounds great! however, the correct way of work IS to speak slow(er) - especially in areas of non-native English speakers. Second: Some pilots said that they didn't like that they weren't placed at the terminal, so they couldn't fully use the wonderful scenery. Okay, no really bad thing, I know. I think you did that so that the landings on Rwy30R didn't have to cross 30L? okay, that would be my fault... I told the guys to work this way which is correct traffic-wise: I don't know the scenery though so didn't thought about the terminal. My appologies guys - now you'll have to come again hehe Ilan Jonas Senior Instructor-I3 Former Vatsim Africa/Middle East Region Director(2004-2012) http://www.vatame.net
Alex Long Posted October 2, 2005 at 12:50 AM Posted October 2, 2005 at 12:50 AM Thanks... what I heard so far from other pilots was good, too. And I think they really appreciated your good service and they'll come again for sure. So do I. If you have any event, please drop me a line! That's it for now, I'll come again with a few pics to terminate this wonderful cooperation! It was great with you guys! Tis Ahh...didnt mean to talk fast. Im still trying to get used to the other style of air traffic control. All my training around ATC has been thru the American FAA style. As it got busy with packing that many guys in the small space there, I did need to move quicker to be sure noone ended up where they should be. I need to work on getting my mic to be more clear. Ive been having a problem with that for a while. May need to invest in a st[Mod - Happy Thoughts]t.
