Dominic O'Neill Posted October 24, 2009 at 09:18 PM Posted October 24, 2009 at 09:18 PM “It's soon going to be time to dust off your Warriors, wind up the Cherokees and set a date with a Baron!” Midlands RTS presents Butterfly Run ’09, the second generation of our infamous event, comprised only of VFR traffic, soon to be seen pottering about all over the Midlands, on Sunday, 25th October, from 1800-2200L. The rules of the game are simple: everyone who visits each of the five manned airfields in the Midlands on the night can be in with a chance of winning a copy of Flying Club 2, kindly donated by Just Flight! Simply fly to each airfield, collect a clue from the controller, input it into the website and move onto the next field until you’ve visited each one - you’ll then be in with a chance of winning the prize! There's no time limit (other than the event times themselves)so you can bring along whatever aircraft takes your fancy, whether your taste be in a fast and elegant Seneca, a rough and tough Cessna or the ever versatile JetRanger, this event is for you!
