Karl Kornel 964857 Posted October 26, 2009 at 07:03 AM Posted October 26, 2009 at 07:03 AM Hello all! I have a question about the Bagotville Military Advisory Areas. I recently read http://rotate.vacc-sag.org/downloads/2006-03/NAR.pdf, which mentioned that some common portions of westbound North Atlantic Routes fly through the Bagotville Military Advisory Areas. The docomeent advises that pilots only fly those routes between 2300Z Friday and 1100Z Monday, unless otherwise advised by NOTAM. I was wondering, are those still the hours when the Bagotville MAAs are normally inactive? Also, where would said NOTAMs be published? Thanks very much for any info you might have! A. Jean-Frederik Dion 819740 Posted January 9, 2010 at 01:31 AM Posted January 9, 2010 at 01:31 AM Hello Karl, Thanks for your question. http://czul.vatcan.org/Home/EN/index1.cfm?page=meteo.htm , through the NOTAM button would be the official source. You would see them in the Monteal FIR (Flight Information Region) NOTAM file. So type CZUL in the first input, and check FIR (Flight Information Region) NOTAM file, then go to the bottom to Get the NOTAM. Blue skies!
