Luke Bruce-Smith Posted November 15, 2009 at 06:04 AM Posted November 15, 2009 at 06:04 AM The .eta function updates the aircraft's reported position for a few moments then defaults back to where it thinks it should be based on speed etc. Is it possible to repair this so that the .eta function affixes itself to the flight plan track and the aircrafts position can be more accurately plotted? Thanks Luke Bruce-Smith

Stephan Boerner 945550 Posted November 15, 2009 at 09:28 AM Posted November 15, 2009 at 09:28 AM Unbelievable ... it must be really hard to understand, that if you decide to use the beta on your own, you will NOT receive support, you will NOT be heard about bugs, and you will NOT receive information about whether or not something has been acknowledged as bug and if or when it will be fixed. Not to mention, that every "public" source of the beta is outdated and does not represent the current development state. Luke Bruce-Smith Posted November 15, 2009 at 12:44 PM Author Posted November 15, 2009 at 12:44 PM Wow, what a supportive community. Perhaps this would have better communicated in a PM or a simple FYI. Great positive public relations for VATSIM! Luke Bruce-Smith
Stephan Boerner 945550 Posted November 15, 2009 at 01:38 PM Posted November 15, 2009 at 01:38 PM Maybe that makes people understand, that beta issues must not be adressed here. This happens much too often, lately. And unfortunately we have no way to get rid of the public download sources. Ask your source for support. We will always provide support for the release version, and for the beta in the designated support place for it. Do not blame us, for you using a version you are not supposed to use. Sorry to be that outspoken, but it obviously needs to be said, if people (not you) think it is ok to point other people to directions where they can find the beta. Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted December 10, 2009 at 10:45 PM Posted December 10, 2009 at 10:45 PM should be noted its not a VATSIM issue. as i understand it, there were beta copies of euroscope distributed without approval, thats the reason the euroscope team is not supporting those. if you were using an approved version, youll more then likely recieve some type of support like the rest of the approved clients Wow, what a supportive community.
