I'm trying to find the Sector I need. But I can't find them any ware. Could someone please help me out. I've gone to the links from the right of the VATSIM home page, but I cant find any Sector files to download from the websites it directs me to? If you need sector files for each airport, I know KLAX, and KSFO well. Thanks, Josh
Ernesto Alvarez 818262 Posted November 15, 2009 at 06:31 AM Posted November 15, 2009 at 06:31 AM first, you need to visit your ARTCC's site and get training, you may think you know SFO and LAX well, but you still require training, if ZLA was the one you picked, visit theyre site and theyll get you setup. all ARTCC's are listed on the VATUSA site. lots of training involved, its not just sign up and control youll find all the training, docomeents, and sector files on the ARTCC's website, whichever you chose if you havent already, have you taken the VATUSA Basic test? Bryan Wollenberg 810243 Posted November 15, 2009 at 07:22 AM Posted November 15, 2009 at 07:22 AM Hi Josh, and welcome to VATSIM. The links to all US ARTCC websites can be found at the bottom of the VATUSA Website: http://www.vatusa.net To start your training as an ATC, click http://www.vatusa.net/join.php That will take you through the appropriate initial steps and tests necessary to control in VATUSA. As Ernesto says, you must receive training prior to controlling on the network. Controlling anywhere without such training is not only looked down upon, but will get you removed from the network. Welcome again. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Bryan Wollenberg ZLA!
