SOA --Talkeetna Virtual Air Search & Rescue Unit thoroughly enjoyed ANC CENTER service provided tonight and is curious if any ATC in ALASKA operates on a schedule, or would be willing to do so. TVASARU operates out of PATK conducting missions for lost boaters, stranded climbers, etc...and would be very interested in coordinating sessions with ATC. Virtual Anchorage ARTCC ZAN seems hard to get in contact with. Any Information related to Alaska ATC would be greatly appreciated -Anyone?-Thanks

It was a pleasure [Mod - Happy Thoughts]isting you with you SAR last night, not to mention the 3/4 mile visibility snow storm that rolled into Anchorage after the SAR We don't have a set schedule. If you guys are holding events every Wednesday. I'm sure we could work something out to at least provide Anchorage Center services. As for the "hard to reach" part. The events director position at ZAN is currently unfilled however you can email the ATM at flury90 (at) comcast (dot) net

Thanks Chris, after the SAR, the medevac [Mod - Happy Thoughts]ist flight to PAMR diverted to PANC was a blast. We are a community of several hundred virtual Bushpilots at GotBush.org, we like challenges, like the weather last night. Hope to see you again real soon, we do plan to hold sessions on wed. @ 5pm PST for the next couple weeks, then we will do some urban and desert training for a session or two , then its back to PATK. Anything we could work out to coordinate our sessions with ZAN or Fairbanks or anywhere would be great, we can organize our missions to take place in different areas, as if we were deployed from PATK, thanks so much!! hope to hear from ya'll soon!!
