Mitch Nelson 1134482 Posted November 27, 2009 at 09:29 AM Posted November 27, 2009 at 09:29 AM Hiya all. Being new to the vatsim scene I'm not quite sure on the rule involving jets. Being a avid user of jets in multiplayer I'm wondering if I am allowed fighter jets on vatsim servers. Thanks in advance. even though I fly the valley of death I shall know no evil because I'm at 80000 feet and climbing
Rauno Maisa 1018208 Posted November 27, 2009 at 09:40 AM Posted November 27, 2009 at 09:40 AM You can fly anything you want in VATSIM, you just have to follow the basic rules on IFR and VFR and radio communications.

Kyle Ramsey 810181 Posted November 27, 2009 at 06:24 PM Posted November 27, 2009 at 06:24 PM You may fly fighter jets point to point on VATSIM just like any other airplane. You can't use it in any combat or other military activities without VSOA approval (i.e., you need to belong to a VSOA organization, listed in the VA Partners list). If you are a seirous jet fighter jock I would recommend joining one. You may fly faster that 250 kt below 10000 MSL if the aircraft requires higher speeds as most fighters do. Have fun.
