Rauno Maisa 1018208 Posted December 1, 2009 at 07:18 PM Posted December 1, 2009 at 07:18 PM FS2004 will run golden on that PC. With FSX, well, you need some great tweaks, but it will be just fine on lower settings.
Charan Kumar Posted December 2, 2009 at 01:46 AM Posted December 2, 2009 at 01:46 AM If that VGA is DDR3, which I think it is, then you should be fine for basic FSX...just do the required tweaking and you should be fine for all sliders max. If you start adding REX, UTX, GEX etc..etc.. then u might see framerate drops although you can actually do pretty good if you find a nice fine point where u can enjoy and not stutter stammer...and with that m/c that sweet spot will not be hard to achieve. FS9 will run sweet as already quoted. Still let us know what you actually see after u have installed and had some numbers. Richard Gerrish Posted December 2, 2009 at 10:23 AM Posted December 2, 2009 at 10:23 AM Laptop isn't that great for FSX. properly cooled laptops are no worse then desktops with the same specs running FSX. only bad part is they're harder to upgrade parts.
